She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theater and English Literature from Colgate University, as well as a Master’s of Arts in Theater Education from Emerson College. Prior to coming to Weston, Ms.Isaacs spent eight years teaching various Theater, Film, and Speech classes at Westborough High School, where she also directed the co-curricular theater company, Center Stage. Anne Isaacs a WHS graduate of the class of 2004, is thrilled to return to Weston High in the role of Drama Director. The group also sponsors workshops, field trips to local theaters and elsewhere, presentations of student-written work as well as participation in the Boston Shakespeare Competition the Mass Youth Playwrights Project and the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival. Rehearsals and stage sessions take place after school and on weekends. Students are encouraged to participate in Theater Company activities by auditioning as performers or by contributing as backstage workers. To produce four shows per year: two plays, one musical and an evening of student-directed work. ![]()
